Glytex
HUMECTANT CUM LUBRICAN
Glytex is a specially designed humectant cum lubricant for sizing of spun yarn of both cotton and its blends, of all count range.
Glytex acts as a humectant mainly and maintains the required moisture in the sized yarn. It also acts as a lubricant and as such gives smooth feel to the sized yarn.
Advantage
•Acts as a humectant to maintain the moisture in the sized yarn, under any humidity.
• As a humectant, it protects the size coating on the yarn from the film cracking / dropping.
• As a lubricant, it reduces abrasion / friction between the yarn during weaving operation.
• Due to slippery feel to the sized yarn, the protruding fibres are softened and hence it tackles the hairiness problem to a greater extent.
• Improves lubricity and minimises the loss of adhesion.
• Improves size penetration and add-on.
Recommended Dosage
Use 2 to 3 kgs per mixing. To be added in the storage vessel.
Packing
Glytex comes in carboys of 65 Kgs Drums.
